The Journal

The Canadian Society of Forensic Science Journal is published quarterly and is devoted to the publication of original papers, comments and reviews in the various branches of forensic science. In particular, these are considered to include forensic chemistry, forensic toxicology (including blood and breath alcohol analysis), questioned documents, forensic odontology, firearms examination, forensic pathology, forensic biology (including serology, hair and fibre examination and molecular genetics) and forensic anthropology. Matters of forensic interest in the social sciences or relating to law enforcement and jurisprudence may also be published. The Society, as a corporation, is not responsible for statements or opinions advanced in the Journal. Articles appearing in the Journal are reviewed for abstract and/or indexing purposes by: The Criminologica Foundation; The Authors and Literature Indexes of the Legal Medicine press; Ulrich's International Periodical Directory (CN ISSN 008-5030); Ayres Director of Publications (1119840005 66 7); Biosciences Information Service of Biological Abstracts; Excerpta Medica Journals, Royal Netherlands Academy of Sciences; The National Trade and Professional Associations of the United States and Canada; Canadian Serials Directory -- Répertoire des Publications Sériées Canadiennes; Chemical Abstracts Service; Forensic-Legal Abstracts (ISSN 1201-0804).

The CSFS agrees to carry advertisements as submitted by the adverstiser. The advertising material must comply with the ethical standards as set out by the CSFS. The CSFS retains the right to make the final judgement as to compliance. The CSFS does not endorse any product, service or information contained in the advertising material. The advertiser will not use the CSFS name, logo, or likeness as endorsement of their product, service or information.
