Bertrand is a Civilian member that joined the RCMP in 2012, first as an Analyst with the National DNA Databank. He started working with the NACB in 2015 as a forensic specialist. He has since examined bank notes, negotiable instruments and travel & identification documents and testified in court as an expert witness. He assumed the role of team leader of Operations in November of 2020. He is passionate about financial fraud and is continuously impressed with the creativity fraudsters demonstrate to achieve their means and enjoys the challenge of figuring it out.
