Volunteering for one of the CSFS committees is an excellent way for members to share information and ideas with the forensic community. In addition to contributing to the society’s success, volunteers gain visibility as participants in their profession, enhance leadership skills, as well as contribute to professional development.

There are five Standing Committees to ensure the efficient operation of The Society:

  • Awards
  • Finance
  • Publications
  • Nominating
  • Membership

Committee Chairs are elected by Committee members and receive authority from the Board of Directors.

The five Special Committees of the CSFS are:

  • Accreditation
  • Certification (Dormant)
  • Constitution
  • Informatics & Education
  • Ethics (dormant)
  • Strategic Planning (dormant)
