Conference 2023

The 2023 Conference is being held June 12-15 at Ontario Tech University, in Oshawa Ontario.  The theme of the conference is “Forensic Science in Canada: An Evolving Community”.  We welcome academics and professionals from areas of law, crime scene investigation, and the many fields relating to Forensic Science.  Presentations and poster sessions will be held throughout the week covering a wide variety of topics and interactive special interest workshops will be offered to provide tools and technical skills in innovative subjects. 

Host Organization

Ontario Tech University is home to the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Forensic Science program. Undergraduate students engage in a combination of face-to-face education and hands-on learning.  The program is innovative in its use of technology and applied learning, emphasizing the connection between lecture content and the techniques mastered in the laboratory and at the Crime Scene House, the 1st of its kind in Canada.  The program strives to put their students at the forefront of forensic education in Canada. The program has its full accreditation by the American Academy of Forensic Sciences’ Forensic Education Programs Accreditation Commission (FEPAC)
