“On Wednesday May 27th, the CSFS hosted its inaugural digital poster competition over Twitter! The CSFS Board of Directors and the Conference Organizing Committee would like to thank our panel of Canada-wide judges for their time and efforts, and thank all the #CSFSPoster2020 participants for sharing their research with the community. We look forward to hosting more events like this in the near future!
The winners of the first ever Twitter Poster Competition are:
- 1st place – Mitchell Tiessen. Untargeted SPME-GC-MS characterization of volatile organic compounds released from spray-paints
- 2nd place – Kyle Penny. Comparing the Effects of Different Writing Surfaces on Indentations Developed Using the Electrostatic Detection Apparatus (ESDA)
- 3rd Place – Lilian Skokan. Reconstruction of obliterated serial numbers in polymers using Raman spectroscopy “
