Wrongful Convictions: They start and end with us
Innocence Canada is a national non-profit organization that works to overturn wrongful convictions. Over the past 31 years, Innocence Canada has helped exonerate 30 innocent people across the country and has also become a national leader in wrongful conviction education and legal reform.
Stéphanie Nowak is the Executive Director at Innocence Canada. She has over a decade experience working in law and access to justice from administration and fundraising to program development and management. She completed her MBA from EDHEC Business School in Nice, France in 2022 and worked as a foresight consultant for global clients like Adidas and Mondelez while at Rohrbeck Heger in Berlin, Germany. Before her MBA, Stéphanie served as Director of Education at Innocence Canada, and has re-committed herself to furthering Innocence Canada’s mission since returning to the organization as Executive Director in August 2024.
